Dance Production 2023 highlighted the center’s diverse training and vibrant community spirit, featuring dancers of all ages and levels across ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, hip-hop, and musical theater.
Audiences were treated to a rich program that included classical works like Clair de Lune and Serenade in C, expressive contemporary pieces such as Ascension, Dog Days Are Over, and I’m Just a Girl, and crowd favorites like Proud Mary, Hairspray, and A Little Less Conversation. From the youngest preschool performers in Flower Power to the Senior Company’s powerful performances in The Mannequin and Young Hearts Run Free, the recital reflected the creativity of HDC’s faculty and the dedication of its dancers.
The 2023 production also celebrated the achievements of graduating seniors, each of whom contributed their artistry and leadership to an unforgettable season.
