About Us
Atmosphere is everything. Our goal at HDC is to open our doors to students that want to thrive in all areas of dance. From the beginner to the advanced student, we provide quality training, nurture positivity, and create an inspiring studio environment. HDC maintains a foundation grounded in tradition and an inquisitive eye to the future of dance. With our professional faculty, HDC guides our students through the many stages of learning and growth, while facilitating a culture of creativity, confidence, and versatility. Our mission at HDC is to engage, empower, and connect our community through dance and make it our priority to expand our reach to new audiences through diversity and inclusion.
Classes
Preschool/Creative Dance: Any color leotard and/or ballet dress, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Any color skirt is also acceptable (not required).
Pre-Ballet/Tap: Any color leotard and/or ballet dress, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, black patent tap shoes.
Ballet: Any color leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers, pink pointe shoes (if appropriate), ballet bun. Any color skirt is also acceptable (not required).
Tap: Appropriate dancewear; dance pants or shorts, any color leotard or dance top, black oxford tap shoes.
Jazz (including Elementary Jazz/HH and Musical Theatre): Appropriate dancewear; dance pants or shorts, tan tights are optional, any color leotard or dance top, tan (slip-on) jazz shoes.
Contemporary: Appropriate dancewear, dance pants or shorts with any color leotard or dance top. Students may be bare footed or wear footundeez.
Hip Hop: Appropriate dancewear or loose-fitting pants and top. Flat sole sneakers (white soles) are preferred (designated for studio use only).
